Born in 1973, Artist Brian Zibell moved from Southern California to Denver, Colorado just twelve years ago.  A life-long lover of artwork, Brian came across an impressionistic oil painter named Quang Ho, which led to his involvement in years of workshops and ateliers at the Art Student League of Denver. This experience gave him the opportunity to study with, and be instructed by  many extremely noteworthy artists. ZIbell is strongly influenced by John Singer Sargent, Andrew Wyeth, Anders Zorn and contemporary artists such as Quang Ho, Zin Lim, Aaron Westerberg, Jeremy Lipking and Carolyn Anderson. Brian’s preferred medium is oil paint, and he would describe his style as “impressionistic with an edge of realism.”
