An Arizona Native, Daniel Gerardo Gonzalez earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education and Visual Arts at the University of Arizona in 2007. While in college, Daniel worked as a professional Artist, and his work was displayed in Galleries in Pima County and Tucson. Daniel then went on to teach Art at Rock Canyon High School in Colorado. Throughout his six year tenure as a teacher, he continued to work as an Artist and often brought his work into the classroom for learning purposes.
His portfolio includes a wide range of work including classically painted portraits, figurative and contemporary works, album covers, pottery and even children’s book illustrations. Daniel continuously creates pieces that depict a central theme of a love for life, and a healthy curiosity of the unknown. Currently, Daniel is a full-time professional Artist, though he continues his teaching through private lessons. When he is not creating art, Daniel enjoys running, reading and playing the guitar.
